1. Who publishes these pages

This editorial portfolio is published by SOPHIE,SUZANNE,MARGUERITE BOUGAUD, whose professional details are shown in About. The address is 14 Rue Paul Louis Lande, 33000 Bordeaux, France. Privacy questions about this publisher may be addressed to [email protected]. A displayed address is a contact destination, not a promise of a provisioned or continuously monitored inbox. Reading an exercise, preparing a draft and corresponding by email involve different information flows. This policy distinguishes those flows so that sharing a manuscript is never assumed to be a requirement for browsing.

2. Information used while browsing

The website has no login, membership account, customer profile or application dashboard. Viewing a page does not require a name, postal address, identity document or payment information. A browser nevertheless makes network requests for the requested HTML, style sheets, fonts, scripts and images. Those requests necessarily disclose connection information such as an IP address, requested path, time and browser headers to the network and hosting providers serving the page. Ordinary network delivery should not be confused with the local enquiry fields described below.

3. Fields you choose to complete

An editorial enquiry can begin with a word count, the kind of text and the intended editing level. The form also provides fields for your name, reply address, optional project name and a message. It does not ask for the manuscript itself. Keep unpublished confidential passages, personal records and passwords out of the draft. An outline is enough to ask whether proofreading, copy editing or an editorial review might fit. If a genuine assignment proceeds, the parties should first agree an appropriate route for source files and any confidentiality requirements.

4. What preparing a draft actually does

Preparing the draft runs code on the page you have open. Required fields are checked and the resulting summary is displayed for your review. The manuscript scope you describe and the selected editorial interest are not posted to a form service or entered into a customer database. The authored script sets neither a tracking cookie nor a local-storage record of the message. Do not rely on the preview as saved correspondence: leaving or refreshing a page can discard it, while a browser may separately restore previously entered fields.

5. Choosing to open an email application

Only the next, optional link invokes an email handler. It supplies a recipient, an enquiry subject and the draft body to the application selected on your device. There you can change the message or discard it entirely. Your provider may keep its own draft, which is outside this page’s local processing. Sending from that application is your separate choice; neither the preview nor the mailto link proves receipt at [email protected]. No email is silently dispatched by the website while you explore the editing exercises.

6. If you decide to correspond

If an enquiry is actually received, the information in that conversation can be used to understand the request, ask questions, discuss availability and keep a record of agreed instructions. A later engagement may require its own record of scope, approvals and invoicing, which is separate from this browsing tool. Information should be limited to people who need it for the conversation or service administration. This policy does not promise that every mail provider has the same storage location, security controls, delivery rules or retention behaviour.

7. Network services and measurement

The site is intended to be delivered through Cloudflare and shared web hosting. Cloudflare may process connection, security and performance information and may provide Web Analytics, email-address protection or network error reporting independently of the enquiry form. Hosting systems may maintain access and security logs. Such network features are not evidence that the website form transmitted its fields. The authored pages do not include advertising pixels, social feeds, remote video embeds, a payment gateway or a third-party form service. Fonts and example assets are loaded from local paths.

8. Purposes and appropriate grounds

The reason for a short editorial enquiry is to understand the text and respond to the request you choose to make. If correspondence is received, the relevant information can support a proposed scope, instructions and administration of an accepted assignment. Network information has a separate purpose: delivering pages and protecting the service. The appropriate legal ground depends on the actual processing and applicable rules, including requested pre-contract steps or necessary record keeping. A fictional proof specimen provides no basis for harvesting author details or enrolling a visitor in promotional mail.

9. Retention and practical deletion

There is no website customer account to close and no stored form submission to retrieve from a website database. A draft remains visible in the current page until changed, cleared or the page is closed, subject to browser restoration. Actual email correspondence can remain with the participants and their providers for the period needed to handle the enquiry, document instructions or meet applicable requirements. A deletion request should identify the conversation sufficiently to locate it. A specific universal retention deadline is not asserted for providers whose arrangements are outside this website.

10. Choices and information requests

You control whether the editorial outline leaves this page at all. Delete the fields, close the preview or decline to open an email application if you do not wish to continue. For information actually held in a correspondence, applicable rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability under the relevant conditions. Where consent is used it can be withdrawn. Explain the conversation when contacting [email protected] so a request can be located. Browsing does not require a passport copy or other identity-document upload.

11. Security, transfers and complaints

Use a device and network you trust. HTTPS protects transport to the website but does not make email an appropriate route for passwords, sensitive files or urgent instructions. Hosting, network and email services can process information in different countries under their own arrangements. The website does not certify every external provider or promise absolute confidentiality of an unsolicited message. If you believe information has been handled incorrectly, raise the issue with the publisher or the competent data protection authority. Nothing in this policy removes rights or complaint routes available under applicable law.

12. Updates and scope

This policy describes the static pages and local draft interaction as published on 3 November 2026. If a backend submission service, account system, checkout, mailing list or other materially different feature is later added, its information handling needs to be described before that feature is relied on. An external page or application reached through an ordinary link has its own policy. Check the displayed policy when deciding what to share. A date or future update does not retrospectively turn a locally prepared draft into a submitted enquiry.
